There's not
much exciting about plastic trash bags. Or floor
cleaner, or detergent, or a host of other
everyday cleaning supplies. Unless they're free
- that's pretty exciting to us! Sanctuary
volunteer Jacki and her husband Steve own
Jan-Pro of Austin, a cleaning supply business,
and have been donating everything we need to
keep the sanctuary clean...which is a lot of
stuff!
And now, their latest surprises for us are truly
exciting! If you've been to the sanctuary
recently you've probably noticed the terrific
paper towel dispensers located, we hope, right
where you need them. We have also installed
wall-mounted touchless hand sanitizer
dispensers. You just hold your hand under them
and "poof" - just the right amount of foamy
Purell magically appears in your palm.
Of course, as soon as we had fastened the one in
Cookie's Place to the wall, we started wondering
if a curious cat would stand on the shelf under
it, lift up to check it out, and get a face full
of Purell. But, as Steve pointed out, they
probably won't do that more than once. Thanks
