I have a sponsor!
Skipper is just my kind of boy! A little goofy and maybe the "undercat" but a very sweet boy and has that look of mischief--even in the
crossed-eyes!

Skipper                                 Born 9/4/06

Skipper is a wonderfully healthy and happy cat now, but when he was found several years ago he was so tiny that he had to be fed with a syringe. On top of that, he is FIV positive, which is why he wound up at the sanctuary. But FIV cats often live normal long lives, and Skipper is growing into a wonderful example of that. He lives in the Outback and really enjoys running all over. He especially likes climbing the big tree trunk that grows up right in the middle of the area, and he uses the trunk as a shortcut to the upper ramps and shelves.

Skipper has a very unique look – he’s cross-eyed, and his eyes are fairly close together, giving him an endearing look that makes him very easy to identify. Because he’s fairly young, he’s also pretty playful, and will be one of the first cats to come running over when a volunteer brings a toy into the Outback for some games. Skipper is a very well-rounded guy, both playful and affectionate. He enjoys sitting in your lap and being petted – at least, until one of his buddies runs by and starts another game!
