I have a sponsor! I would like to
sponsor Mr. Chin for my son, Max Fuller, who is
10 and loves cats! We cannot adopt a cat as our
cat Phil doesn't really like company, but I
think he would love to help other kitties.

Mr. Chin
Born 6/27/05
Whenever kittens are
spotted in a feral colony, they are usually
trapped, socialized, and placed in adoptive
homes. At that young age, most kittens adapt
very well to a more domestic life. There are
always exceptions though, and Mr. Chin is one.
Trapped as a tiny kitten, he just never became
social enough to be a good candidate for
adoption.
Shadow Cats stands by every cat
we rescue though, and we will do whatever it takes
to ensure that they get the life that’s right
for them. Although Mr. Chin never developed into
a lap cat, he has adapted wonderfully to life in
the Outback section of the sanctuary. He has
lots of room to roam and plenty of cozy, out of
the way hiding places when he wants solitude. As
it turns out, he seems to prefer an in-between
lifestyle – although he’s not really a people
person, he does enjoy being petted very
occasionally, on his terms. And that’s what he
gets from Shadow cats – a safe, secure, happy
life just the way he wants to live it.
