Some of the
sanctuary cats have come from distant
places…others, like Gizmo, from right next door.
Gizmo was seen frequently in the neighborhood
near the sanctuary and started hanging around
the front porch, where we always keep bowls of
food and water out for any hungry kitties who
happen by. One day he showed up with a big wound
on his tail, and we couldn’t let that go
untreated, so we took him to Central Texas Cat
Hospital where Dr. Smith cleaned up and treated
a nasty gash. Soon Gizmo was hanging around the
front door all the time and became a regular
fixture outside the sanctuary. |
