There’s one word that best describes Frankie:
majestic, magnificent, stunning...you decide!
Something about the shape of his face and the
look in his eyes is very regal. It only adds to
his commanding presence that he is a really big
guy….all that’s missing is a crown on his head.
Frankie was originally rescued in Houston and
found an adoptive home. But then his owner moved
to a “no pets” apartment so Frankie was returned
to Shadow Cats.
Frankie generally gets along with
others – he
lived just fine in his home with three other
cats – but there are a couple of cats at the
sanctuary who somehow seem to push his buttons
and ignite fireworks. So Frankie lives in Nana’s
Corner, where he gets along well with those
cats. In fact, he seems to get along especially
well with the shy cats who get picked on by the
bullies in other areas. Maybe he just can’t
stand bullies! Frankie loves to be held – if
you’re standing close to his shelf, he’ll often
put his paws up on your shoulder and wrap his
front legs around your neck. As long as you’re
not a bully, you’ll get along with Frankie just
fine!
