Once upon a time there were several cats –
Faith, Boy, Myrtle, and kitten Lucy – all living,
sort of, in the lumber storage area at the Round
Rock Lowe’s store. That wasn’t working for any
of them, so someone called Shadow Cats. Nice
trappers came and got them and brought them to
the sanctuary, where they were given a great
place to live that was safe, interesting, and
fun with everything they needed to be healthy
and happy. They really liked it there, made lots
of friends, and they all lived happily ever
after.
At Shadow Cats, we really like
happy endings! Faith didn’t have much of a
future where she had been living, but now in the
Outback she really can live happily ever after.
She’s still mostly feral at heart, but she’s
very sweet and absolutely gorgeous, as you can
see. Lately she has even occasionally allowed
someone to get close enough for her to sniff
their hand, and has even let herself be petted
once or twice. Who knows, she may decide that
she likes that after all. Either way, Faith’s
story definitely has a happy ending!
