Isn’t Diego just the most handsome, adorable cat you’ve ever seen? Don’t you wish you could take him home with you? Well, good news – you can! Most of the cats at the sanctuary are here because they have health or behavioral problems that make them very unlikely to be adopted. But every single cat that Shadow Cats becomes involved with, in any capacity, is a lifetime commitment. That includes healthy little kittens who find adoptive homes.

Diego is a sweet, loving, gentle cat who found an eager adoptive home several years ago. But he wound up in a situation that’s unfortunately not uncommon – his adoptive parents, after several years, started having children and decided that a cat no longer fit into their family now that there was a baby crawling around. Now, there are plenty of happy homes everywhere filled with both cats and babies….but there’s just no changing some folks’ minds.

 

So Diego is back at the sanctuary – with Shadow Cats on his side, at least he will have a home here. But he’s already shown that he’s a really terrific house cat, and as nice as life can be at the sanctuary it’s tough now that he’s felt the love of his very own family. Maybe he could feel that love again with your family...
