What’s even better than a pocket
full of cash? Why, a whole lap full of Cash, of
course! When Cash first came to the sanctuary he
was a pretty shy guy – you could tell that he
wanted attention, but he was afraid to come over
to you. After months of patience and TLC,
though, Cash has definitely learned to
appreciate affection. He’s not the most outgoing
cat, and often is off to the side by himself,
but if you seek him out he’s very friendly and
appreciative.
Cash originally came from an
Austin feral colony. He was FIV positive, kind
of thin, and not really sick but just not
aggressive enough to hunt and survive on his own
in the wild. In other words, a teddy bear! Now
he lives in the Uptown area of the sanctuary and
he’s got that “kind of thin” problem licked!
Some cats are happier living the feral life….but
it’s obvious that Cash prefers a little more
structure. Friends, food, shelter, and plenty of
volunteer laps – just what the doctor ordered
for this happy guy.
