It’s been said that cats are always on the wrong
side of the door – inside wishing they were out,
or outside wishing they were in. But there’s no
doubt that Boy is happy to be inside these days.
He was originally living the feral life near a
big box store in Round Rock. But when the store
started putting out poison to control rodents,
Boy and others in that colony (including Myrtle
and Faith) had to be trapped and removed for
their own safety.
Now Boy lives very happily in the
Outback at the sanctuary. Although he started
out feral, he has become a very cuddly lap cat
as any sanctuary volunteer can tell you. He
loves people, attention, and enjoys playing with
the other cats. In the Outback he gets to be
carefree, enjoy himself and leave all the work
to us – just the way we like it. As part of the
Shadow Cats family he will have a lifetime of
care at the sanctuary unless he gets lucky and
finds that forever adoptive home….either way,
the rest of his life will all be spent on the
right side of the door!
