The Indoor vs. Outdoor Debate
Top 10 Reasons To Keep Your Cat Indoors
- You won't have to pay to get your untagged cat from the pound (again).
- Your cat won't come home rabid, or infected with Feline AIDS or Feline Leukemia, from getting involved in a cat fight.
- Your cat won't fall victim to a predator, a speeding car, or an animal abuser.
- Your cat won't be stolen, trapped, or sold for medical research by some unscrupulous character.
- Your cat won't leave you dead animal parts as "gifts" on your front door, or come home smelling like a skunk.
- Your cat won't be responsible for causing a traffic accident.
- Your neighbors won't have reason to complain about your cat peeing on their bushes, howling at night and keeping them awake, or getting in their trash.
- The neighborhood children won't have to tell you that your cat has been injured/killed, and that their parents plan to report you to the authorities for breaking the leash law.
- Your unspayed female won't come home pregnant (of course, a truly responsible owner wouldn't have an unspayed female, especially one that goes outside!).
- Your cat won't come home, he'll already be there!
Responsible owners keep their pets at home, safely indoors. It's safer for everyone; you, your neighbors, your community, and especially, for your cat! And, quite simply, it is just the right thing to do!
No one wants to be bothered putting up with YOUR pets, so keep them at home!!!!!!! |
