Cat Sponsorship
Although we sincerely wish we could shelter and care for all homeless and needy cats, we have limited space and limited funds available to care for those cats in need. But with your help, we are able to provide care for about 100 adoptable cats and kittens currently living in foster homes and at our shelter, while awaiting adoption into permanent homes through our adoption program.
At Shadow Cats, we love all cats. We want to provide them all with a safe and happy environment. But not all cats are eligible for our adoption program, and not all can return to a managed feral colony. But for a few lucky cats, we are able to provide a home in our sanctuary. Cats come here to live out their lives being cared for by Shadow Cats volunteers, and live among friends. With your generous contributions, we are able to provide a home for about 40-50 cats in our sanctuary.
Not all feral cats are lucky enough to find placement in our sanctuary. But with your donation through Cat Sponsorship, we are able to provide good food, shelter, and care, for well over 500 feral cats living in managed colonies in Austin and Round Rock. With your donation through the Sponsor-A-Spay program, we are able to spay and neuter the feral cats in these colonies (and others) as well, so that no more homeless kittens will be born into the feral life.
But there are so many more out there that need our help and support.

We have several different sponsorship levels:
Your Monthly Donation of:
- $10 a month provides food for one cat
- $25 a month provides food & litter for one cat
- $35 a month provides food, litter, & monthly flea treatments for one cat
Your Yearly Donation of:
- $100 provides a house, heated bedding, & yearly vaccinations for one cat
- $250 provides a house, heated bedding, & veterinary care for a special needs cat
- $500 provides food, litter, flea treatments (1 yr) + a house, & heated bed for one cat
