I thought I was the luckiest
kitten in the world just to have such a fun
family and a whole house to run around in…..and
then my Dad built me a tree house! There was a
little porch upstairs outside the office that
had a neat balcony with trees all around it.
But they wouldn’t let us go out there because
they were afraid we’d jump into the trees. So
one day Dad turned the balcony into an enclosed
treehouse, just for us! He made ledges for us
to walk around on, and put plastic mesh
everywhere so we can’t fall off.
Now whenever the weather is nice
they open the door and we can go out into our
own private treehouse. The trees are really
close, and there are usually lots of birds in
them and a few squirrels. It’s a little
frustrating not to be able to jump out at the
birds – I know I could catch one if I tried –
but it sure is fun to watch them. And there are
a lot of deer that walk through our yard right
below the balcony so we get to watch them too.
