A famous Austin photographer, Patty Mora, who’s
a friend of Shadow Cats wanted to do a story
about TNR for
TOTO, a magazine that she created full of
neat stories about people and their cats and
dogs. She needed some special cats to pose with
a model and she picked me and Tiger Lily!
Actually Patty wanted a bright, colorful cat so
Dad suggested Tiger Lily, but he brought me
along too. Usually Tiger Lily is very friendly
with everyone – but she got really shy in the
photography studio and looked pretty scared. So
Patty decided to put me in the picture too, to
help Tiger Lily relax, and it worked. The model
we had to pose with did look a little scary,
although he was actually very friendly. Sure,
he’s covered with tattoos, but anyone with L – O
– V – E tattooed on his fingers must be a pretty
nice guy, right? Patty just wanted us all to
look serious for the picture because TNR is a
very serious subject.
Patty also took some pictures of me and Dad, and
you can tell that I’m a lot more relaxed and
happy in his arms. But it’s important for
everyone to know about TNR and how they can help
community cats. And if you’d like to get some
really good pictures made, then Patty is the
person to go see! Take a look at her
website. Personally I think she does her
best work with cats, but she takes some pretty
nice dog pictures too. ;o)
