To people who
don’t have cats, our dining room probably looks
like a big mess, but it’s one of my favorite
places to play! Mom and Dad are always giving us
new cardboard boxes and paper bags to play with,
and Mom likes to rearrange them and hide all our
little toys in them so they always seem
different and interesting. Sometimes things
really seem to pile up, but since we like to
play with everything so much they usually don’t
get rid of a box until it’s all worn out. The
boxes used to get worn out from being jumped on
– I like to sit on top and cave them in. But
Cairo seems to chew on everything, so once he
starts tearing up a box Mom usually takes it
away from us. And we don’t even get to have big
pieces of wrapping paper any more because Cairo
eats them right away!
