It just
doesn’t get any better than this! Mom and Dad
seem to think of everything I could want or
need. When I want to relax, I have a big cozy
blanket to lay on and lots of other neat places.
When I want to cuddle up I have Cairo and Tiger
Lily and Romeo – well, not exactly Romeo, I
guess, but I still think he’ll come around
someday and decide that he really likes me. I
have plenty of fun toys, lots of windows to look
out, and we get to go on camping trips to really
interesting places.
Most of all, I feel really, really loved. When
Mom and Dad talk to me and hug me I feel like
the most special cat in the world. Of course,
they do that with all the cats in our house –
but somehow I really feel like their favorite
when they’re talking to me.
If that nice man hadn’t stopped when he saw me
on the side of the road…if the people at Shadow
Cats hadn’t found a way to help one more
kitty...if Dad hadn’t noticed me when he walked
into the vet’s office…my life would have been
very different. That makes me appreciate it even
more, and wish that every cat could be as lucky
as me. It doesn’t take much - maybe you have
room for another cat or two, there are still
plenty who need a home…
