For Valentine’s day Dad got Mom a
big bouquet of flowers. We all know that we’re
not allowed to chew on the plants or jump up on
the tables where they are (at least, not when
Mom & Dad are home….), but this was just too
exciting! It was a huge bouquet with all kinds
of strange flowers we’d never seen before, and
they put it on the coffee table right in the
middle of the living room. There was no way
that we could keep from climbing up there – it
looked and smelled so interesting that we just
had to check it out.
So Mom finally gave up and put the vase on the
living room floor for a while. What fun! I’ve
never seen flowers like those before – it took
half an hour to thoroughly sniff every single
one. And we were very careful not to mess them
up, all we wanted to do was see them up close.
Now the flowers are back up on the table and
it’s much easier for me to leave them alone.
Besides, I’m a good girl and I try really hard
not to do things that I’m not supposed to do.
But when Mom and Dad are gone, I’ve seen Tiger
Lily jump up and play with the flowers...she’s
naughty!
