Traveling in the Trailer

We all really like traveling in the trailer.  The driving part isn’t very fun – all bouncy and noisy – but we just curl up in cozy places and wait until it stops.  And we seem to stop a lot.  On long driving days, Mom and Dad stop for lunch, and sometimes for coffee breaks, and come back in the trailer and sit with us.  After being cooped up for several hours of driving, it’s really nice to get out and stretch and lay in a sunbeam…or on a lap!

Even though the trailer is small, it has everything we need.  There are lots of windows to look out, and we really like warm weather when they’re open a little and we can hear and smell everything through the screens.  Even truck stops are pretty interesting, there are always people walking by and new things to see.  And we must be pretty special, because people really seem to make a fuss when they walk by and see all of us in the window!

We have a big litterbox in the bathroom, and Dad turned the dining room table legs into scratching posts for us.  We’re not allowed to get up on the table during meals, but the rest of the time it’s one of our favorite places to sit and look out the window.  And mom knows how to get our attention – all she has to do is pop open the top of a fresh can of yummy cat food!
