We went on another camping trip!
Mom and Dad called it The Great Trailer Cat
Experiment, to figure out just how many cats we
can fit in our little travel trailer. And I can
tell you that four cats fit just fine!
Cairo was a little nervous at first, just like I
was last year. But with me, Romeo, and Tiger
Lily there to show him the ropes he figured it
out in no time. We went to Big Bend and
Guadalupe Mountains National Parks. Since it
was Christmastime, Mom and Dad put lights up
inside and outside the trailer. There was a
full moon one night, and they opened the front
door so we could sit at the screen door and
watch it come up over the campground.
I love camping – there’s always something
interesting going on outside the windows. Now
that there are four of us I always have someone
to run around and play with too. Cairo seemed
to stay up and play with his toys all night a
lot. It was pretty cold some of the time, but
there’s a big warm blanket on the bed, and at
night all of us pile on with Mom and Dad and we
all keep each other warm.
