The windowsill is one of my
favorite places. It’s nice and wide, with two
windows. Mom put soft blankets on it, and
there’s a big plant in the middle. When Tiger
Lily and I get on each side we like to peek back
and forth through the plant. Especially in the
winter, when the sun shines in all afternoon,
it’s a nice warm spot and I take long naps
there.
Dad hung a big bird feeder right
outside my window. There are almost always lots
of colorful little birds on it. I never get
tired of watching them, and sometimes a big deer
will walk by right next to the window! But I
think my favorite thing is when Mom and Dad come
over to pet me and talk to me – I’ll stretch,
twist, roll all around, and purr as loud as I
can so they’ll know how much I like it. I think
it’s working!
