| When Brando was
very young he was dumped, unwanted, at a
shelter. Now, just take a look at that
face……there are a lot of things that come to
mind when you look into Brando’s eyes, but
“unwanted” is not one of them! It could be that
because he had a mild case of stomatitis he was
too much trouble or expense for someone. In any
case, he’s no trouble at all for Shadow Cats!
Today Brando is living very happily in the
Uptown section of the sanctuary. His earlier
stomatitis cleared up with treatment, and while
we’re still keeping a close eye on him for any
possible recurrence, these days he’s the picture
of health. While he’s a bit shy, he really likes
being petted and held once he gets to know you.
Brando has a sleek, wild look as though he would
be right at home prowling in the woods, blending
into the background, and striking fear into the
hearts of any mice or birds who crossed his
path. But his path took a different turn…..and
we’re glad it turned our way! Is Brando the cat
