Cheetoh is a versatile, all-around cat.  He LOVES to play – with people, toys, even dogs!  And he especially likes playing with paper bags and cardboard boxes.  As you can see, he appreciates a good perch and is an expert in the fine art of relaxation too.  Cheetoh is a big guy – not fat, just a really big cat – with the thickest, softest, most luxurious fur you’ve ever felt.  He loves being petted, and will arch his back into your hand with delight.  Sounds darn near like the perfect cat, doesn’t he?  Well, we think he IS perfect.  But in the home that adopted him along with Misty and Lizbeth as kittens four years ago, “the kids just outgrew them” and they decided they no longer wanted any cats. 

Cheetoh started out life as a feral kitten.  A hostile neighbor disliked cats and sprayed his mom with a hose every chance she got – so mom decided to drop her kittens off in the garage of another neighbor.  They remembered seeing a Shadow Cats brochure and called us, and soon all the kittens (and eventually mom too) were in foster care being socialized.  Before long Cheetoh was adopted – but as you’ve heard, that didn’t work out.  However, once a Shadow Cat, always a Shadow Cat. – Cheetoh will at least have a place with us at the sanctuary.  But for a “perfect” guy like this, surely there’s a REAL forever home out there…..could it be with you?
